Led on bid of over £1.6million to Heritage Lottery, to renovate an old church and turn it in to the main arts centre of the North East of London. Led on our cultural development aims and ensure that our artistic program impacts a wide range of audiences. Managed a team of artistic programmers, operational managers, marketing and coms and digital teams. Led transformational change of space and audience and implement our dynamic and robust business plan. Responsible for strategic leadership and developing the organisation looking for new business opportunities. As Artistic Director speak into the arts program output regarding special seasons. Conceiving, developing, and implementing the artistic vision and focus of our organisation. Responsible for ensuring the arts offer connects with the local audience. Ensure that the arts program always has excellence at its core. Lead on being the artistic ambassador at conferences and industry events.Led on successful ACE applications which has been matched funded by the British Council (£30k), this was part of the Nigeria/UK season of arts collaborative work. And both venues I’ve set up in Waltham Forest have been in part subsidised by local authority grants. I’ve submitted comprehensive reports for all of these showing both qualitative and quotative data sets. They have shown audience attendance figures, how these have increased from baseline and how on track we are to achieve our projections. These often are prepared for a variety of different audiences.

Designed and delivered gender equality freedom of expression programs for girls and women and in refugee camps in the Sahara desert with cultural NGO’sTraining young women in cultural leadership and technical skills in running businesses often attributed at male dominated sectors such as event production. This helped tackle the lack of opportunities for women, braking perpetual poverty cycles.Diplomatically brokered sensitive relations between NGO management and cultural departments of Polisario elected interim government departments in southwest of Algeria Mauritania and sections of liberated territories in the Western Sahara.Taught and run capacity building projects on a cascading skills basis, teaching the teachers in cultural leadership.Run wellbeing and social change projects with participants ranging from young children to children with special needs, collaborating with the BBC philharmonic orchestra.Guest lectured at postgraduate level advocating and articulating for the cause courses in industry.

I was lead Production manager for all Borough of Culture High Profile Events. Including; Opening and Closing shows, Africa Express, Art Night, Liberty Arts (GLA), Arts Assembly, Welcome to the Forrest, Polish Jazz Series, Stay Another Day Campaign and many more.I produced the 'London is Open' inspired Africa Express show with over £350,000 budget. Working closely with City of London and Epping Forest, engaging Waltham Forest and Redbridge licensing teams so that the site I chose (which sat on the border) was licensed appropriately. Drafted site plans, site infrastructure and site logistics. Contracted food and drink suppliers. Advanced technical riders and procured equipment suppliers for extensive backline and PA requirements.Contributed and presented at many Safety Advisory Group (SAG) meetings for large scale festivals for all environmental health, licensing and emergency services. Sort and processed Letters of Sponsorship for Tear5 Visa's. Booked freelance production support and crew, artist liaison, event security Processed invoices and monitored payment schedules for artists and contractors. Monitored applications and sat on decision making panel for grants. Host cultural infrastructure steering group including legacy and impact panels. Curated a community space called One Hoe Street; this was a space for artists and voluntary groups to engage with Borough of Culture program in ways they might not normally get the chance too. I then co-created with them their arts program. This place became a unique space where the residents of the borough could have a main point of contact between the arts community and Waltham Forest Local Authority.

I managed an artists-in-residence program called Resonations, an international and online artist residency programme led by the British Library and supported by the British Council. The two resident artists for Resonations 2023 were Emma Mbeke Nzioka and Nicholas Calvin Mwakatobe. Here I ran the selection process and completed the final evaluation of the program. I also facilitated their showcasing opportunities at BBC 6Music and Music in Africa in Tanzania as well as many other public-facing events. This enabled the artists to interface with international audiences online and local communities in East Africa.

Delighted to work with Music Venue Trust throughout the time of the global pandemic COVID-19. When in the post, I was one of the three London coordinators responsible for ensuring that venues across London are up-to-date with guidance and have access to all available funding opportunities.

The last project of 2019 drew together all of my skills of working under pressure in festival and event and music production. I was approached by London Records to rerecord and produce a track by local legendary band East17. Here I worked closely with Tony Mortimer (original band member) Joe Duddle (Arranger for Elbow), Waltham Forest Music services, a 100 strong members choir and a local brass band; East London Brass. Besides the creative side of producing the record, I led the production of their TV and radio and live show performances and campaigns. Booking backline and PA for ITV This Morning, drafting stage plans for 100 strong choir including ensuring all BOPA licenses and permissions had been correctly obtained and filed.
