I have over 27 years of increasing responsibility and leadership in the addiction services field. I specialize in working with and integrating the broad range of social, business, financial, and family support systems of an active or recovering addict to ensure that these support systems are aligned to support recovery. I bring a diverse blend of experiences in the addiction treatment field, from clinical program design, clinical supervision, direct services and counseling, business planning, operations, and organizational leadership. These all seem to play a role in the work I do. I am intensely curious about “what works and why”, grounded with empirical training and guidance, but open to the humility of “whatever works and not knowing why.” My clients demand a high level of service, and deserve an individualized creative approach that is respectful, discrete and confidential. I am still in awe of the power of this illness and its impacts, and have enormous respect and empathy for those that are afflicted. Previous Job Experience and Achievements Lead the design, build, and implementation of new clinical products, processes, and systems that supported Hazelden’s strategic initiatives. M.O.R.E.® , My Ongoing Recovery Experience a multimillion dollar 3 year project, is the result of that effort.  Lead and participated in multiple cross-functional work teams on a national basis to achieve strategic initiatives, including the development quality standards, measurement tools, and evaluation methods. Specialties: Work collaboratively with families, their businesses, advisors, trustees, and the entire system of influence to resolve difficult and complex addiction issues. Demonstrated experience and successful integration of multiple evidenced based practices with creative individualized approaches to resolving difficult issues arising from addiction and other behavioral problems.
