 Provide counsel to management on all aspects of HR including, but not limited, to: Discipline, grievance, pay and reward, sickness, maternity/paternity/parental leave and performance management. To act as a ‘subject matter expert’ in Absence Management and Capability. Ensuring that managers have a thorough understanding of the sickness policies and procedures in place and the support available to employees. Also acting as single point of contact regarding the relationship between Getronics and our Occupational Health providers. Provide advice and guidance to staff regarding employee relation issues by applying knowledge of employment legislation and company policies and procedures. Acted as company representative for seventeen TUPE transfers (in & out) from an operational perspective for the complete project life-cycle. This included: ‘Town Hall’ presentations to employees, employee consultation meetings for staff transferring into Getronics and the creation and advising o Statement of Measures. Acted as main point of contact for third party organisations such as: Solicitors e.g. during redundancies and appeal hearings, and benefits providers (AON) Providing counsel to managers regarding the internal promotion of employees including guidance relating to job re-grading and evaluation. Working with management to provide guidance and advice regarding the deployment of organisational restructure projects. This included acting as lead on consultation meetings as well as coordinating redundancy payments and compromise agreements for employees placed at risk of redundancy.
