About Sameeha Khan
The intersection between justice and sustainability is undeniable. We all deserve the right to a livable planet, no matter where we live or who we are– yet this is not the reality we live in. This is why my intended career focus will highlight climate justice issues and increase access to sustainability for communities of color. My experiences have given me skills in social media management, public speaking, science research, policy analysis, and advocacy. I have also worked with local organizations that highlight Caribbean culture and our unique connection to the land. My identity has shaped my passion, and I hope to play a role in amending the disproportionate impact of climate change on people of color.
