With over three years of experience in public health settings at various levels, I am a Community Health Ambassador at Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), where I support the delivery of mental health promotion and education programs and services to diverse and underserved populations. I hold a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from McMaster University, with a focus on public health and epidemiology.My core competencies include conducting research, planning, implementing and evaluating evidence-informed public health interventions that address health inequities and improve health outcomes. As a first-generation immigrant, I have a deep understanding of the social determinants of health and the barriers that marginalized communities face in accessing health resources and services. My mission is to connect public voices to public health practices, policies and programs that foster health equity and enhance the well-being of everyone regardless of their race, ethnicity, religion or sexual preference. I am always eager to learn new skills, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and contribute to the advancement of public health knowledge and practice.
