Earned doctoral degree on the topic "Nutritional Profile of School-age Children in selected Rural Areas of Aligarh District". More than 10 years of experience revolving around research, teaching and curriculum design in various areas of public health and nutrition. Currently working as an Asst Professor in the department of Clinical Nutrition, College of Applied Medical Sciences, Taibah University and committed to share responsibilities for committees and departmental tasks including academic, administrative and supervisory. My university level teaching expertise subjects include: Community Nutrition, Management of Nutrition Services in Hospital, Nutrition Communication & Counseling, Feeding Children with Neurodevelopment Disorders and Food Science etc. I also worked as "Nutritionist" in Medical Unit of Taibah University Campus. My duties included: Nutritional Assessment, Nutritional Diagnoses and imparting nutrition education to the clients for prevention, control and treatment of various life style disorders prevalent in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. My research interest areas include: non communicable metabolic disorders , maternal & child health nutrition and Nutritional Diagnosis & Intervention for Children with Special Health Care Needs. I am capable to assess nutritional needs of the community, monitoring nutritional status, of the population, develop programs to address nutritional problems and implementation of effective nutrition strategies. I have life time memberships for Nutrition Society of India, Indian Dietetic Association (Delhi Chapter), and Home Science Association of India. I am passionately looking forward for a platform to excel in my career and make significant contribution to social causes in the field of public health nutrition.
