FlyAmritsar Initiative is a not-for-profit civil society organization focused on expanding air connectivity for Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport, Amritsar (IATA: ATQ, ICAO: VIAR), Punjab, India. As the Global Convener, I advocate for the community by engaging with key stakeholders, including airlines, trade bodies, government agencies, and elected officials in Punjab, India and other countries including UK & Canada. Our mission is to foster cooperation and ensure a unified global voice for the advancement of air connectivity.As a co-founder of the Initiative, in this role, I have led collaborative efforts with senior decision-makers at airline headquarters, working on network planning, sales, and strategic development. I have spearheaded initiatives that promote direct and hub-based flights for the benefit of the Punjabi diaspora, ensuring greater connectivity to major destinations across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
