Power Plant Manager
CurrentOversee the power plant's activities to ensure that the plant production meets the business objectives, manage all daily operations of the plant to meets production requirement and ensuring policies and procedures are being followed. Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our business expectations1. Increasing production/assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards2. Responsibility for production output, product quality and on-time shipping3. Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results4. Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus5. Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions6. Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and develop plant staff7. Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime8. Commit to plant safety procedures9. Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets10. Address employees’ issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements11. Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts12. Follow all procedures and instructions pertaining to start-up, shut-down and normal operations of the power plant systems13. To comply with all safety regulations including isolation, lock out and tag out system must be implemented14. Emergency procedures in order to personnel and equipment in case of damage or failure of safety devices to restore the equipment back to available to handle any emergency.
