It offers a range of financial services including Pakistan's first Mobile Financial Services brand Easypaisa, Mobile wallets, Mobile money transfer, Digital and traditional lending, Insurance, International Remittances and Cash management services by primarily targeting the under-served sector of Pakistan.• Leading the overall Financial Control (Financial Closing & Reporting, Procure-to-Pay & Payments and Taxation) function along with Regulatory and Tax Reporting, System Implementation and Governance function.• Involved in Business Control decisions based on financial data analysis.• Led the IFRS-9 implementation project and acted as a focal point from Finance for ECL model development in line with the requirements of IFRS-9 and Central Bank.• Led the ERP conversion and migration exercise to Oracle E-Business Suite R-12 (GL, FA, P2P).• Led and implemented core banking system platform conversion to T-24 (Temenos) banking software along with its integration with ERP. • Actively involved in the implementation and impact analysis of new Financial Reporting standards.• Managing a team of 30 experienced individuals for ensuring maximization of skills and personal growth.• Lead and review the annual, half yearly, quarterly and monthly financial statements ensuring they are in compliance with local accounting framework and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs).• Designing & implementing prudent systems, accounting, finance and management policies and procedures to support internal financial control.• Management of stakeholders including Telenor Group, ANT Financials, Board of Directors, External and Internal Auditors and Central Bank.

Following are the key highlights and details of responsibilities during my tenure at Star Hydro Power Limited:• Prepared management accounts, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets, and provided value add reporting and financial analysis. • Designed Financial Model of the Company based on cost incurred during construction phase for the purpose of Power Tariff Revision and determining the adjustments required from regulator.• Successfully led the Tariff petition exercise and represented the Company before the regulator for tariff revision. • Designed IFRIC-12 (Service Concession Arrangement) model of the Company to meet the Financial Reporting requirements of the holding company operating under a different reporting framework.• Prepared the financial feasibility and commercial viability for new project opportunities and dealt with multilateral agencies for their expression of interest for financing.• Dealt with the Project Financiers (IFC, ADB, IsDB and KEXIM) with respect to the loan tranches and compliance with debt covenants.• Provide supervision of the annual internal and external audits.
