The profile of the internship included the following:• Financial transactions had to be recorded on a daily basis and these records were to be mandatorily submitted to the finance Controller at the end of every week.• The process also involved billing and maintaining the required details in prescribed Proforma.• All the bills had to be updated according to the months and then filing of all the bills in the files according to the date and month, i.e. in the chronological order.• The software being used at Sarovar Portico is IDS software where all the bills had to be updated and matched with the contract total amount.• The inventory levels also needed to be checked, like the food and beverages stock had to be assessed and updated. In case of any shortfall, the required quantity had to be ordered against the purchase order made either through the software o manually.• The bills and the vendor bills had to be matched and any discrepancy rectified. The same had to be updated in the IDS software and then print records maintained.• A daily record of transactions was also maintained in MS Excel worksheet.
