Zebra’s Picking-Mantis Project is revolutionizing the warehouse Fulfilment industry by leveraging the expertise of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) from FetchRobotics and collaborating with FulfilmentEdge (Darwin) to provide guided navigation to Pickers and Robots within a warehouse. My role is to design and implement Node microservices to Orchestrate the tasks execution and synchronization from both platforms to navigate humans and robots for an optimal pick solutionResponsibilities• Built Backend Microservices providing RESTful APIs using NodeJS (ExpressJS) that served data-flow between AMR, Darwin and other services handling more than 10,000 concurrent requests.• Utilize FLASK framework (Python) to implement Rest APIs for WMS (ETL layer) interface.• Generate high performance gRPC server using protobuf in GO (Golang).• Maintain Swagger API (Open API) documentation for all backend Microservices• Manage and maintain Relational database tables using PostgreSQL• Log important data, dump any relevant data for replay purpose under MongoDB• Containerize all Microservices in Docker for platform independence• Define and monitor the Continuous Integration (CI) pipeline of project including build generation on Jenkins to generating Docker Images for the build using GitLab• Participate in initial deployment of project at customer’s site and perform required testing to validate the project’s functionality according to client’s requirements• Define steps and write/maintain shell and python scripts for developers/testers to download working instance and/or specific build version of project• Deploy static instance of project on AWS S3 bucket for remote test team• Write C++ code for robotics platform dictating robot’s navigation• Design Interactive Analytical Dashboards using Grafana by utilizing systems monitoring and alerting toolkit from Prometheus• Design Admin/Supervisor portal using Angular Framework to display useful information and provide important controls
