Design of different types of mechanical seals for pumps, agitators and compressors using solid- edge and AutoCAD. Developing seals to suit different equipments and duty conditions. Design of components, checking detail drawings and BOM release for manufacture. Testing of new developed seals for product validation.Co-ordinate with marketing team across India and in-house Assembly dept.Provide active customer support for products installed in India. Responsible for application engineering of mechanical seals for pumps. Perform calculations for heat soak, leakage rate, seal chamber pressure, flush flow rates, and sizing fasteners & torque transmission devices. Provide support to field and sales engineers to troubleshoot design concerns. Coordinate with Purchase and Planning departments to expedite orders. Managing the workload – Project reviewing, Scheduling, allocation and completionResponsible for quality and timely delivery of all projects.Checking all designs and drawings completely of team members.Knowledge of API 682, API610, DIN24960/EN12756 standards & ASTM materials.Basic Knowledge on international Design Standards like ISO and ASME & ASTM.Troubleshoot non-conformance reports with quality inspectorsProficient in using SolidEdge ST4, AutoCAD, Solidworks and Pro-E.
