Hello, I'm Sameer Dhungana, a Civil Engineering student specializing in Hydropower at Kathmandu University. With a passion for sustainable energy solutions and a commitment to academic excellence, I am excited to embark on a promising career in the field.Education:- Current: Studying Civil Engineering with a specialization in Hydropower at Kathmandu University.- +2 Completion: V.S. Niketan College, Minbhawan, Kathmandu.Academic Projects:In my second semester, I led a team in constructing a demonstrative model of the support system for the KU research tunnel under the guidance of Associate Professor Dr. Shyam Sundar Khadka and Er. Bimal Chhushyabaga. We showcased this model at the prestigious Himalayan Hydro Exhibition 2022 in Kathmandu.In the third semester, I collaborated with my team to prepare a demonstrative model of rammed earth structure under the supervision of Assistant Professor Er. Manish Prakash.Extracurricular Activities:- Participated in the international conference SURUNG-1 organized by the Civil Department.- Volunteered in various events, including blood donation programs organized by Red Cross and oral dental health camps organized by the Rotaract Club of Kathmandu University.- Conducted quizzes in the civil department program known as Sankalpa.I am driven by the desire to contribute to the development of sustainable energy solutions and infrastructure that positively impact communities. My academic achievements and practical experiences have honed my problem-solving skills, teamwork abilities, and effective communication.I am eagerly seeking opportunities to apply my knowledge and skills in the civil engineering industry, particularly in the hydropower sector.
