In elective subject, the course outline was formulated to integrate with the ongoing design topic and helps the students add value to their design problems.I have been involved with the Winter School & Summer School 2018 formulation and coordination. This time the focus of winter school was on the Documentation of forts and temple complexes of the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. The ultimate objective is to produce work for publication as a part of the Institute’s Research and publication cell.I was also involved in campus enhancement initiatives, which included the creation of a Butterfly Garden within the campus on the eve of Founders Day. In addition, I accompanied our college students’ team for the 61st Annual NASA convention held at S.J.B. School of Architecture in Bangalore.I was a part of the Study tour faculty team. I accompanied the first-year students on the Bhopal tour, where we took students to various architectural structures and places to understand India’s heritage and prestigious history.I was also involved in various activities to promote college through Public Outreach programs. One of them was the organization of “Walkathon 2018”, a part of “Chala Nagpur,” a 4-day event by Nagpur Municipal Corporation and Maha metro. My significantthe contribution was to develop an Online Google System, which made things easier for record purposes while taking follow-up from the students and respective firms for training.Coordination of Electives in the Fifth and fourth years was another small agenda.I was involved in the coordination of The Final Thesis Jury in the Academic year 2015-16,where 14 National and Pune Jurors were invited to take a jury of the final-year students.I coordinated the Asian Contest for Architectural Rookie’s Award (ROOKIES). I was majorly involved in planning, preparing, executing, and coordinating the whole event.I was also involved in coordinating the EXIT EXHIBITION, an exhibition for the first time inPune, started by our college, where the Final Year students display their five years’ work to the city, where the professionals of the field also visit. Later I worked on the Redevelopment and Extension of Pune University’s Physics Department, where the challenge of maintaining the character of the University campus was taken care of while designing. I was involved in designing and processing Tender drawings and final working drawings of the same. Another similar project was of a Bank Building on the premises of Gokhale Institute Pune, where the Heritage norms came into play. By the end of my working period, I was thoroughly involved in five Primary Health centers with residential quarters in Nagpur District. I was majorly involved in designing the campus, Site development, Client coordination, and the Process of preparing BOQs and processing the Tender Drawings. Later I was also involved in the Preparation of Working drawings for the same. Apart from the above, I worked on preparing Competitions, Presentation Drawings & Estimation, and Conceptual Design Development. In addition, I learned to conduct Site Inspections and prepare Site Status Reports. Being a part of an ISO-certified firm, I learned to be organized in my work. Show less
