• Worked on the project: "Modelling Diffusion and Propagation of Affect in Social Networks" under the guidance of Seema Nagar and Dr. Kuntal Dey.
• Tracked the dynamics of hate speech on social media platforms using novel methodologies. We published five research papers which together established an understanding of hate speech dissemination and consumption.
• We incorporated a topic-model combined with a user-centric analysis of hate speech to view a top-down snap of the networks of hate.
• We tracked the spread of hate-speech on Twitter by factoring in different forms of hate, as well as their temporal evolution using Spreading Activation models. We then proposed Graph Convolutional Networks (GCNs) to.
• We explored homophily among users in various classes of hate. Moreover, we used GCN graph embeddings to compute a novel metric for familiarity between users.

• Worked on the project "Game-based Interactive Simulator for Training Professionals in Cybersecurity Vulnerabilities" - Funded by MHRD and DRDO, Government of India
• I developed an online serious-game using Unity3D and Firebase which addressed identifying complex phishing emails and catching the trails of insider threats. I contributed around 5,000 lines of C# code for the project.
• This game utilises modular code, a dynamic difficulty setting and is customisable for the organisation that adopts it.
• I also developed a machine learning-based scoring algorithm to ascertain a player's performance and provide insights on the current skill levels.
• Our paper describing the project got accepted as a poster in the Games and Learning Alliance (GALA) conference, 2020 — an international conference dedicated to the science and application of serious games.

• Software engineering intern at the Cyber Intelligence Centre under the Risk and Advisory division. I was responsible for integrating various components of an in-house Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response.
• Included backend development using NodeJS and Python, and the practical implementations of such technologies.
• Implemented workflows for ticketing systems and ensured that cybersecurity offences are not dropped during passing.
• Extensive exposure to core systems like firewalls, detection and response tools, user behaviour analytics and how they work in synergy to detect threats.
