After high school, I spent a few years working full-time. I started out at Pizza Hut where within a month, I was promoted to shift lead because management liked my ability to lead the team as well as get projects within the store done in a timely manner. I then got a job opportunity at Roger Vivier as stock manager. I continue to develop my skills here as I had now managed a team that was in charge of maintaining the stock for the entire store. It was here that I gained much experience in using Microsoft office and excel in order to correctly document the stock. After about a year, I received a job offer at Fossil Inc. This is where I truly developed my team leadership skills. I wasn’t just managing a stock team now, but a whole team of associates. There was no separate stock team so I had to devise ways to Get projects for our stock done as well as maintaining the sales floor. About two years ago I decided that I wanted to get an education so I transitioned to part time third key. I decided to get my degree in management information systems. I had already had a great deal of experience in management and team leadership, so I decided to put it to good use. During my time at Las Positas college, I maintained a 3.4 GPA. I also made the Dean’s list for academic excellence twice whilst at Las Positas community college.
