I am a practicing Corporate/M&A and Private Equity Partner with significant and extensive experience working on M&A/Private Equity transactions as well as general corporate transactional matters in the UK and internationally. I trained and worked at large law firms in the City, gaining extensive experience before moving to become Head of Corporate for one of the largest independent law firms in Dubai for 15 years. During my time there, I built a Corporate team who were able to evolve from having no legal directory ranking to being ranked in Band 1 by Chambers Global from 2013–20 (with personal recognition as a ‘leader in my field’!) . Similar rankings were also achieved in Legal 500, PLC Which Lawyer in Corporate/M&A and Private Equity/Venture Capital and the International Who’s Who of Lawyers.Since returning to the UK in 2020, I have undertaken various projects in parallel with practicing corporate law, including building a successful property rental business and political advisory work.In 2024, alongside practicing as a corporate lawyer, I have joined a former longstanding client from Dubai who built a highly successful pharmaceutical business which he exited to a sovereign wealth fund in 2022. We have co-established Tiberius Capital Partners with a focus on investing in the UK healthcare sector.
