Bringing my many years of experience working with children, and bringing together sport and recreation programs. This involved planning planning activities, maintaining budgets, and supervising program staff.As a volunteer coordinator, I was responsible for interviewing, hiring, training and scheduling volunteers for the summer. Towards the end of the summer, I was tasked with evaluating volunteers on their performance where they received constructive feedback from myself. Each volunteer received a certificate and reference letter upon completion of their hours. In the absence of my supervisor, I was able to act in their role and supervise all staff in all programs. In this role, I was able to supervise, schedule and evaluate staff. This also involved completing payroll, and discussing any matters with staff, parents and their children. Other tasks included monitoring program numbers, bringing in support staff for children with disabilities, and booking trips and transportation for camp field trips. In this role, I communicated with the Community Facilities Coordinator about matters and updates within existing programs.
Facility Rental Coordinator- Community Legacy Program
