  Work on various network types of equipment and related devices from a security protection emphasis to include installing; troubleshooting; modifying; testing.· Gather and organize technical information about an organization's missions, goals, and requirements, existing security products, and ongoing programs in the IA arena.· Perform a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized technology problems.· Integrate electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems, or technology problems as they relate to IA requirements.· Conduct security assessments and security consulting services.· Analyze information security requirements.· Perform certification for C&A processes for the accreditations of systems.· Perform vulnerability analysis and assessment using either government or commercial off-the-shelf technologies.· Deploy, configure, operate, maintain, update, and manage Mail and Web Gateway capabilities and policies· Ensure all mail and web gateway servers, databases, reporting servers, and other components are compliant with the most current DISA STIGs and/or SRGs.· Apply mail and web gateway policies.· Monitor all installed mail and web gateway capabilities to ensure a stable and secure environment.· Ensure all signature and block lists are updated.· Create and implement signatures, alerts, rules, policies, and website/email blocks as necessary.· Review and update all mail and web gateway SOPs, Work Instructions, MOAs, and CONOPS.· Review suspicious e-mails submitted to the “SPAM submissions” for content that may be considered dangerous.· Other Mail/Web Gateway tasks as assigned.
