An MEng Aerospace Engineering Graduate from the University of Sheffield (2:1), specialising in Aeromechanics and Material Science. Experience with engineering packages such as Fusion and Ansys Workbench to carry out FEA and CFD analyses. Hands on experience through group assignments, designing and building both drones and quadplanes from scratch. My greatest achievement through University has been working alongside Rolls Royce on a research assignment on the Microstructural and Microhardness characteristics of Nickel Superalloys joined via Inertia Friction Welding, in which I:- Carried out a series of analytical tests of IFW Nickel Superalloys, using both optical and scanning electron microscopes and a Durascan Hardness indentation machine- Effectively carried out the processing, presentation and reporting of data in order to analyse trends, with all findings written in a formal report and presented to a group of experts. Potential reasons for the trends observed suggested, alongside methods of improving the existing mechanical properties- Carried out individual research and cross referenced results with existing research and a parallel research project, articulating any trends observed with all parties involved.Throughout my working career, I have become heavily involved in the financial and logistical decisions of a multi-hundred-thousand-pound charity, through which I have become experienced in Project Management and Leadership roles, both in the planning and implementation phases of projects. Through my work, I have become responsible for around 20% of the charities annual revenue, through both independently planned events and joint events held with external partners.
