Involved in the delivery and reporting of CRY opportunity grant focusing on child protection and education for vulnerable communities in 7 states of India. Key contribution in ensuring the program is well coordinated and implemented and that learning is communicated to stakeholders on timely basis. More specifically develop and oversee the implementation of annual program plans, provide advice, guidance and supervision of program activities, and technical support throughout the program cycle. Monitored financial resources in line with the internal control framework and CRY rules and regulations. Developed and implemented monitoring and reporting framework including that of and online MIS for quantitative reporting. Conducted annual evaluation and periodic reviews to assess progress on intended results and bottlenecks. Also prepared donor reports, program narrative and financial reports, including case stories and lessons-learned. Participated in the intra and inter state coordination mechanism to ensure coherence of the program. As focal person participated in the national committees for Covid Awareness Campaign and Bridge Course education program.

Accountable for planning and delivery of the overall program in accordance with the mission. Devising long-term goals, breaking it down into objectives and key results areas thus creating a path and an execution plan helped in achieving program outcomes successfully. I helped the team periodically review and reflect on the plan, thus assessing the progress and identifying bottlenecks which required to make necessary modification. I worked on an M&E system to assess the strengths of each of the projects and to identify areas for improvement. These steps proved crucial to the success of the programs. Major highlights of the tenure were coordinating CRSA in education and non-discrimination in five districts, baseline assessment of Child-Friendly Education in 279 public and private schools, four new partnerships, SoP for projects M&E and draft partnership policy among others while simultaneously building and leading the team.

Leading the state program for MP, interacted with the community with a view deepen the thematic work and guide the implementation. Successfully managed relationship with partners, donors, and other stakeholders through directed communication regularly. Accomplished preparation of annual plan and budget in coordination with National Office and 17 local partners, reporting and documentation further facilitating the decision making.

Conducted impact assessment and analysis for the project ‘Socio-Economic Development and Traditional Medicinal Knowledge Protection’. Prior to that, designed the pilot project on ‘Youth Based Stigma and Discrimination Reduction Curriculum for HIV in higher education’ supported by UNDP in collaboration with International Council of Research on Women. My accountability ranged from developing an effective analytical framework, designing research and generating insight and actions for client business ('Aadi Aushadhi') to producing and presenting questionnaires, data tables, and information through FGDs, reports and debriefs.

Supported CRS and local partners in the monitoring of the U.S. Government and CRS privately funded multi-sector projects in three states of Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. Undertook regular partners review, budget forecast, and budget analysis, developed PoCs, RFAs, for bilateral and multilateral agencies and reporting. Developed and implemented the phase over strategies and plans for State Office and partners and undertook to monitor and report on the same. Capacity building of partners resulted in setting up of 12 ICDS centers using Supreme Court orders. Raised resources in short span for local partners through successful national level RFPs and engaged with flagship programs of govt. of India such as ICDS, MDM, and NRHM in line with CRS strategy

The Project supported by DfID was meant to address food and livelihood insecurity and social exclusion of the most marginalized among the dalits in North India. My responsibilities included timely and quality programming, research, advocacy and campaigns, thematic integration especially food and education rights and reporting to the donor. As core contribution, I helped build the platform of the community organizing more than 3 lack members in the Tarai. I served as focal point and helped establish the right to food campaign in the sub-region. Created visibility of the issues and the community through sustained campaigns, brand building exercises and sensitization of state and non - state actors including elected people representatives. Regular linkage building led to setting up of institutional mechanism for addressing the problems of community – coordination committee and appointment of special officer for entitlements realization for marginalized community at district level. The flagship initiative was recognized as model intervention globally by Action Aid International.
