Responsible for management of all risks including credit, market, liquidity and operational risk in the overseas branches of the Bank. In addition, manage credit risk in several portfolios including foreign corporates, domestic and foreign banks/ FIs/ insurance companies, NBFCs, capital market entities and public finance. Earlier, have been the Head of Operational Risk and maintained credit related policies.

Was responsible for management of all types of risks in the Bank. Implemented an enterprise-wide risk management and risk appetite framework. Developed various risk management policies for each risk type and a risk dashboard for reporting to Board level committees. Was a member of several executive Committees of the Bank.

Was responsible for managing all risks by establishing governance frameworks for each risk type (credit, market, liquidity, operational risk, etc.) including development and implementation of policies, processes and systems for risk identification, measurement, monitoring, control and reporting. Key achievements include development of an Enterprise Risk Management & Risk Appetite Framework, loan pricing framework using default history and loss given default data for various infrastructure sectors, an internal credit rating framework including 11 credit rating models, an Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), a stress testing/ scenario analysis policy and embedding a risk culture of informed risk taking through training & communication of policies and providing robust analytical solutions for effective decision making.
