I was a research intern in South Korea, and my area of expertise was environmental science. During my internship, I focused on studying air pollution levels in the region and creating accurate maps using AI tools.To do this, I gathered data from various sources, including satellite imagery and air quality monitors. I then analyzed this data using machine learning algorithms and other AI tools to generate detailed maps that showed the distribution of pollutants like nitrogen dioxide and fine particulate matter.I also worked closely with local organizations and government agencies to develop policies and strategies for reducing pollution levels. This involved conducting research and presenting my findings to policymakers, advocating for sustainable practices, and identifying areas where investments in environmental infrastructure would be most effective.Overall, my work as a research intern was critical in advancing our understanding of air pollution in South Korea and developing strategies to reduce its impact on public health and the environment. My expertise in using AI tools to analyze and visualize complex data made me a valuable member of the environmental research team.
