Inducted as the CFO after working as the FA for Meri Bhi Aik Khwaish Hai, an NGO operated by students of Nixor College. I managed the entity's cash inflows and outflows with its bank account; putting forward economical but effective ways to execute our events and projects along with one FA.I and my team of 20 students were able to raise 1M+ PKR for the underprivileged groups of our society and we provided aid to the visually-impaired, hearing-impaired, individuals with disabilities, construction workers, flood-affected farmers of Pakistan (2022 flooding in Punjab), the transgender community, cancer patients, the poor and homeless. Our work included but was not limited to:-Conducting road drives to collect money for the hearing impaired - we provided 7 hearing aid devices to the hearing-impaired.-Collecting warm clothes for the homeless; collected over 1500 articles of clothing and distributed them between the homeless people of Clifton, Karachi.-Engaged in fun activities such as pottery and painting with individuals with Down's syndrome.-Organized a ration drive in 'Project Akhuwat' where we collaborated with Nixor Hospital to provide a few weeks worth of ration, clothes, and free medical checkups to a hundred flood-affected families in Muzaffarabad Colony.-Distributed food parcels to multiple construction workers working on different construction sites in the DHA - Clifton area.-Visited and provided moral and monetary support to the farmers of Wanki Wasi village in Sindh, who were adversely affected by the 2022 flooding.-Conducted the first-ever parliamentary debate session "Mere Alfaaz, Mera Andaaz" between the students of Nixor College and hearing-impaired individuals to spread inclusivity and bridge the communication gap.Our mandate was simple but impactful - spreading smiles.
