I started out as an intern at an architectural firm in Lahore which is one of the oldest firms in Lahore, Pakistan, my architectural knowledge has increased ever since I've joined the firm and I'm still learning. I've worked mostly on residential, industrial and commercial buildings in my 1.5 year time at this firm, I have to say I've learned a lot from the senior architects they have improved my design and planning a lot, it has opened up my mind and helped me better understand of how architectural drawings are made and how a project is executed on site, what I have learned working as an intern architect here is that, working in an actual architectural firm environment, working under pressure and studying architecture at a university are a completely two different worlds, what I advise to the upcoming architects would be that to learn architecture and try working in the field in your sophomore years you will understand your design much better, you will see your design through a very clear lens and will understand better.
