Overseeing design of the payload system for 5 250-gram payloads to be installed on a hybrid eVTOL vehicle for the SUAS competition. - Built and implemented a process to track wear on railway diamonds and predict their approximate replacement date to allow for more adequate planning, internal coordination, and cost savings.- Consolidated and automated tracking of the material qualification processes for 25 track materials ensuring alignment between engineering and procurement departments and adequate long-term sourcing options- With the support of stakeholders, proposed a 6-month purchase plan to optimize inventory levels and cash flow for high-value track materials. This was achieved by tracking historic usage, supplier commitments, current inventory levels, payment terms, and safety stock - Launched an RFQ for 300 SKUs to 2 suppliers.- Built a sourcing optimization tool using Excel VBA for field personnel that weighed the cost, delivery time, material quality, and supplier location and outputted the optimal supplier choice for the desired location.
