CurrentPMU. Project Management Unit is representing the World Bank in practicing both financial and technical controlling over the implementation of the ministry projects financed by the WB (program. SRSSP (Sustainable Rural Sanitation Service Program)Duties & Responsibilities: i. Issuing financial statements for the program.ii. Forecasting and budget preparing, through establishing business plans for the coming five years for the water companies.iii. Follow up budgeting execution on the ground by the water companies.iv. Discussing the deviation between actual performance and the budgeted numbers then correct the deviations.v. Promote excellence to support Bank goals and work with all stakeholdersTo evaluate and plan capacity to deliver strategic goals.vi. Evaluate the system of internal control.vii. Leading the financial team in the unit.viii. Adherence to financial statuary reporting standards.ix. Develop, implement, give recommendations about maintaining sound financial accountability and financial practices.Through effective internal control frame work and anti-fraud policy framework.x. Analyzing and implementing the World Bank agreements.xi. Attending meeting with the World Bank in order to coordinate the work and to follow up the progress in projects.xii. Coordinating the work with the ministry of housing regarding the commitment to implementation.xiii. Working closely with the project technical international consultant (Mott MacDonald’s).xiv. Following and preparing financial reports for International auditing firm (Pricewaterhouse cooper).xv. Reporting directly to minister consultant. And vice minister.xvi. Member of the Tenders envelope opening committee.
