Sameer Talawdekar is a thoughtful, detail-oriented Screenwriter & Director bringing forth four years of experience. He is adept in all aspects of story, script and content development including structure, character creation, and the intricacies of storytelling. He is self-motivated and strive for innovation, originality and heartfelt narratives having directed & produced three short films.During his time in WWI, he has written feature films, an adaptation of a war book called 'Walong', a bible for a five part sci-fi drama TV show and numerous short films. He has trained under Mr. Anjum Rajabali, a veteran screenwriter who has written multiple Indian films like 'Raajneeti' 'Ghulam' and 'Toofan.'He is the recipient of a mid term scholarship at Whistling Woods International and he was also awarded the Silver Medal at my convocation last week.Apart from screenwriting, he also excels in script doctoring, researching, proofreading and content writing. He has good communication skills and he has been part of writers’ room before, so he knows how to be a team player. He has directed and produced three self funded short films, along with assisting his fellow directors, giving him prudence in managing schedules, deadlines, budgets and most importantly people. He has also written for a website for more than a year, giving me a journalistic eye for films and TV shows along with the already acquired creative one.
