Hey there, my name is Sameer and I am currently based in Sydney, Australia. As an aspiring cybersecurity professional, I am determined to make a positive impact in the ever-growing digital world.I have a strong passion for cybersecurity and am constantly learning and honing my skills in this field.I am a self-learner and have been actively pursuing opportunities to gain knowledge and experience in cybersecurity while pursuing my undergraduate degree in Information Technology at Kaplan Business School.Some of my key skills include programming languages such as Python, JAVA, HTML, and CSS with intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel).Recently, I had the opportunity to join Mastercard's job simulation program through Forage, which allowed me to gain practical experience in the cybersecurity field. This experience has further fuelled my drive to pursue a career in this dynamic and critical industry.As per my current work experience, I have been working as a Retail Team Member for over 4 years at Woolworths Supermarket. One of my strengths is my ability to provide excellent customer service and tailor my approach to customers' individual needs.My work ethic, collaborative and goal-focused mindset have always been appreciated by my peers and superiors, in particular when working with team members from culturally diverse backgrounds. I also firmly believe in the value of organization and time management in the workplace.
