Leveraging my teaching experience and technical skills, I support the new Master of Public Health program at the Faculty of Medicine's School of Epidemiology and Public Health. I provide guest lectures in the following courses: Globalization and Health Equity; Health Policy; Global Health Epidemiology and Practice; International Health and Development.

As a public health expert and social scientist at the Agency, I build and connect bridges in the science to policy space with a view to facilitating evidence-informed decision making. I provide analysis and advice for policy development, taking into account risks and opportunities for strategic policy, planning, and development around the key public health challenges facing Canada in the post-COVID19 context. I contribute to briefings for the Treasury Board and Cabinet.

Administered a Canada Research Chair file in Human Rights and Global Health Equity, in support of Professor Lisa Forman's research. Steered international, interdisciplinary collaboration, including managing funding and partner liaison.

Designed, led, and implemented a 3-year interdisciplinary, international project to inform the formulation of the Sustainable Development Goals as part of research consortium Goals and Governance for Global Health (Go4Health). Manged the Asia hub for research examining the essential health needs of marginalized populations in BRAC project areas in 3 countries, collaborating with 13 institutional partners across 9 countries.

Engaged in formative and field research as a core team member with partners at Columbia University and icddr,b to evaluate Unicef’s rural Maternal, Neonatal, and Child Health (MNCH) programs in Bangladesh. Involved in all stages of formative and implementation research on Millennium Development Goal 4 & 5 progress in rural districts, interviewing and liaising with program beneficiaries, government partners, donors and other stakeholders.
