I work with a number of tax chambers and solicitors in London and Offshore (non-UK resident) Trustees I work jointly with them on the LDF (now WDF) and voluntary disclosures for clients (usually HNWI) with undisclosed UK & foreign income. -These mainly include offshore trusts settlors & beneficiaries. If needed after the disclosure I work with their existing accountants on an on-going basis to provide the necessary figures for their tax returns.-Individuals who have not realised that they need to disclose their foreign income or have not done so and need to bring their tax affairs up to date with HMRC.As part of the disclosure process or separately for administration of the foreign trust I analyse offshore trust accounts for relevant income, offshore income gains & capital gains pools, both historically and on an ongoing basis, S.87/S.733 matching, 10-year and exit charge IHT calculations.I also prepare accounts for foreign trusts and any underlying entity. The format of these accounts takes into account the UK tax disclosures and notes that need to be made for a particular trust. Trustees find this very helpful when dealing with UK tax issues for the trust structure.I deal with Let property campaign and more recently due to RTC requirements I have also been assisting offshore trustees to identify UK source income and assets and make a disclosure to HMRC for any non-compliance.I also provide UK tax services to non-dom UK residents which include guidance on pre-arrival planning, SRT, remittance basis, and mixed funds.>>>> As a British national resident in Portugal since 2019, I can help with the interaction of PT/UK income tax and the Non-Habitual residence tax break in Portugal.
