The develoPPP programme supports private sector companies with over 40 million Euros a year. My role is to engage and structure private sector partnerships that co-develop scalable, innovative solutions across various thematic areas.

DEVELOPMENT SECTOR: April'18 to June'23: Senior Advisor to GIZ GmbH (The German Development Agency) and Component Head. I lead a team of Indian and international experts for the integrated development of agri-value chains (including apple in Himachal) by mainstreaming modern agri-practices & appropriate AgriTech alongside rural enterprise development, co-created with collaborators (institutions, government, private sector).Notable successes:- Mechanization solutions from India adapted for Africa- Private sector collaboration for Agri-Tech solutions (incl. ICT & remote sensing)- Food processing & beekeeping enterprises- Initiated and structured South-South & Triangular Cooperation between India, Africa & Europe 2009 till 2018: RURAL LIVELIHOODS & EDUCATIONDesigned a programme for the Govt of Uttarakhand to build & manage food & agri-based livelihoods opportunities across the hilly regions.Safe Harvest- Built the pan India safe-food agri procurement & distribution platform. Launched the Safe Harvest brand, now a Rs 650 mill. business.Over six years, invested and built profitable, autonomous rural enterprise models in Uttarakhand, comprising 5 micro dairies, agri-procurement and distribution of Tata Tea, Godrej products, blankets, solar lights, agri inputs, engaging over 3660 women across 300 villages. USP (a) Provide last-mile access to remote villages that traditional distribution finds unviable (b) Engages individuals, mostly women as stockists/sellers of products. Business volume over Rs. 50 million.St Anne’s Education Trust- Developed a distinct, premium Institutional model to complement existing mass market (100000 students) offering.PRIVATE SECTOR CONSULTING: Apple Computers, Vodafone India, Madura Fashion & Lifestyle Ltd, Arvind Retail Ltd, Star TV, a1000yoga, Portico, Proline, KG Denim, Herbalife, Hasbro (Basics & Genesis) Clothing, etc.Core competence: Develop novel scalable models.
