Planning and Controls Test Engineering for L2 & L3 autonomous vehicles

Multi faceted role, where I participated in three main areas: CICD improvements, python software development and C++ software development. In C++ software development, I assisted in development of Lane-free path planning enabling our driverless vehicle to generate trajectories in unstructured environments such as passenger pick and drop-off locations. In simulation software I designed and implemented simulation scenarios to verify the new Lane-free path planning method using data collected from drive logs, to compare with existing failures in nominal planning. In CICD job role: I managed the PyTorch research software repository where new models for perception, prediction and planning were continuously built and then exported to TensorRT for the on-vehicle C++ stack.Integrated the bazel python toolchain into the PyTorch repository to fix dependency management, improve utilization of CICD test resources, and simplify new environment setup. In the python software development role, I implemented C++ python bindings, bringing the autonomous vehicle on-car stack to the PyTorch research repository such that ML teams can run experiments that better match the on-vehicle environment.
Led the design and implementation of the Cloud Console Control Center, which enabled scheduled deployments, release history, and full system rollbacks.Developed internal tooling for managing blue/green and A/B style deployments, resulting in a {30%} reduction in deployment time.Led the restructuring of the existing CloudFormation based tools to Terraform IAC to build blue/green deployments in place of manual system updates.
