Have a good knowledge in safety, Quality and Health procedures/systems. Have experience at a Supervisory level. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Good Computer literate (MS Word, Office & Power Point).Duties and Responsibilities Ensuring that all items of safety, fire fighting, environmental equipment and facilities are kept in best working conditions by assisting in prevention maintenance programs and associated procedures. Carrying out HSE-MS audits on subcontractors and verifying implementation of their systems on project spreads. Defining PPE requirements in accordance with company activities and including subcontractors. Ensure that all safety items required in the permit to work (PTW) are adequate / available and ensure full compliance with the PTW during task being carried out. Reporting and analysis of any near miss, sub-standard practices and substandard conditions at work sites. Provide feedback to improve the implementation of the company HSE management system. Conducting in-house training general safety when required for the employees. Carry out familiarization to newly joined employees to cover HSE related items. Conducting accident / incident investigations making necessary reports. Identify common risks related to the nature of core activities carried out and develop a general risk register. Participate in risk assessments for projects and lead risk assessments for infield operations. Conducting HSE meetings with employees to enhance safety awareness, and improve HSE performance. Prepare material for safety flashes based on the outcome of the site near misses & accident reporting or from international industry resources. Advise management on any HSE matters pertaining to good site operations. Ensure that current legislation was observed.
