Project: Greater Cairo METRO Line 4 - Railway Project (LRT) - (Main Line Stations & Depot.) Responsibilities:• Reviewing the design documents (Inception reports, calculation notes & design drawings) for all mechanical systems (HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing) with respect to the project specifications, related standards and regulations.• Reviewing material submittals for all mechanical systems (HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing) with respect to the project specifications.• Arrange & attend the technical meetings with client and contractors.• Attend factory visits & technical meetings with nominated suppliers.• Participate in the approval for the life safety report of the project with the civil defense.• Preparing Breakdown for the mechanical items in the project BOQ.

• Preparing and reviewing for the design documents of HVAC system (specifications, material submittals, BOQ, detailed design drawings & shop drawings).• Participate in finalizing the bidding documents.• Preparing HVAC calculation notes for Depot. buildings• Assist in selecting & purchasing for all HVAC equipment & materials.• Assist, supervise & coordinate mechanical installation works on site.• Arrange & attend the technical meetings with client and consultant.• Contacting suppliers for mechanical equipment to get both technical & financial offers.• Assist in all technical & financial negotiations with client.• Prepare the Variation Orders (VO).• Attend site visits to resolve related technical office issues.• Providing technical support for EMD manager & design engineers in HVAC & firefighting works based on previous experience in Metro/Rail projects.• Arrange & perform the materials inspection requests for mechanical equipment.• Coordinate for mechanical works with civil contractors in Depot & main line stations.• Solving the installation clashes on site with other departments.• Rectify the site instructions” SI” and non-conformance reports “NCR” related to all mechanical works.• Participate in the HVAC design for camp buildings of the LRT Maintenance company.• Participate in the preparation & approval for the life safety report of the project with the civil defiance.• Assist in preparing both of factory and site acceptance tests for HVAC equipment.• Performing Site Acceptance test “SAT” for HVAC equipment.• Performing Site Acceptance test “SAT” for firefighting equipment.• Participate in the handing over (PTO) for the Depot. buildings & main line stations to client & civil defense.

Projects:• Modernization of Signaling System for (Beni Suef - Assuit) Railway.• Modernization of Signaling System for (Cairo-Alexandria) Railway.• Construction of Technical Buildings (Banha - Port Said) and (Zagazig – Abu Kebir) Corridors.• TRD- Shooting Range, New Capital, Egypt.• H&B MEGA Mall, 6TH of October City, Giza, Egypt.• Citadel Plaza Mall, Mokkatam, Cairo, Egypt.Job Duties:• Review and check the tender documents such as Design Drawings, BOQ, Specification, technical offers etc.• Preparing Shop drawings and As-Built drawings for all mechanical activities (HVAC, Fire Fighting and Plumbing) after coordination between all electromechanical activities.• Preparing design drawings and BOQ in limited cases such as undefined scope.• Submitting material submittals/data sheets to the Client/Consultant for approval.• Analyze and prepare the Variation Orders (VO) either the required defined scope or the cost study.• Attend site visits to resolve related technical office issues.• Attend progress meetings/operation meetings if requested, discuss and suggest technical proposals.• Support Tender Department to define undefined scope. Undefined scope may be in Design Drawings, Specifications, and BOQ in order to facilitate the estimation of cost and pricing.

Project 1: Sclumberger Integrated Base – 6th of October• Reviewing the design documents (calculation notes & design drawings) for all mechanical systems (HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, Compressed Air and Irrigation) with respect to the project specifications, related standards and regulations.• Reviewing material submittals for all mechanical systems (HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, Compressed Air and Irrigation) with respect to the project specifications.• Reviewing the mechanical shop drawings for all mechanical systems (HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, Compressed Air and Irrigation).• Supervision for the installations works for all mechanical systems(HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing and Compressed Air & Irrigation).• Attending both of factory and site test for all mechanical equipment.- All the works were done as per FM-GLOBAL standards.

Project 1: AL MAAREF Schools (Jeddah & Dammam-Saudi Arabia)• Preparing full design package for HVAC system.• Calculating HVAC loads using HAP for the project.• Sizing for both ducting & piping networks and equipment selection.• Coordination with the other divisions (Arch., Str., Elec., fire Fighting….etc.) to solve all the coordination issues using Revit MEP.• Delivering the design with high quality in order to be used in construction stage.

-Revise the design of the HVAC system for Cairo Metro Line no.3.-Revise the design of the smoke management system along with evacuation plans for Cairo Metro Line no.3.-Attending both factory and site tests of the HVAC equipment for Cairo Metro Line no.3. -Supervise the installation of the HVAC system (equipment, ducting, piping…etc.) for Cairo Metro Line no.3.-Maintenance for HVAC equipment (DX-Package units) of the NAT buildings.-Preparing the design of the new HVAC systems for the NAT buildings. -Preparing the tender documents of the new HVAC systems for the NAT buildings. -Review the contractor invoices concerning HVAC works.-Preparing the design of the smoke management system along with evacuation plans for Cairo Metro Line no.4.-Preparing the tender documents for Cairo metro Line no.4.

• Studying the tender design documents carefully, in order to determine the exact requirements for the project (quantity survey, getting offers from various suppliers for the materials...etc.)• Preparing both of technical and financial offers for the bid.
