 Organizes, Directs and Controls the laundry department and maintains relevant records. Responsible for the correct handling of guest and house laundry. Establishes standards and procedures to ascertain quality of work performed. Regularly reviews and analyses procedures to look for ways for improvement. Institutes safety measures. Regularly inspects all areas. Follow up with the Engineering Department on preventive maintenance and repair orders. Organizes production schedules to meet the requirements of the various departments. Making regular water analysis. Establishes washing formulas and making corrections and improvements whenever possible. Checks on production methods and procedures and issues necessary orders to correct shortcomings. Orders and controls supplies. Responsible of Hotel inventories coordinating with house Keeping Department. Trains, Directs and Supervises Laundry staff and takes corrective action when performance is not satisfactory. Establishes training programs. Attends communication meetings and follows up on matters discussed in monthly basis. Ensures that laundry personnel are knowledgeable about the Hotel’s services and facilities. Prepares duty roster and observing the result. Fills in monthly attendance record. Investigates complaints and takes corrective measures. Implements emergency procedures when requested.
