• Supervising the Enabling works Contractor and ensuring that all works are carried out according to the Reports, Calculations, Drawings, and Specifications.• Developing and monitoring the Project Execution Plan, procedures, and controls and attending weekly meetings with the Client.• Assisting the Contractor in obtaining all required permits, licenses, and certificates from Authorities and monitoring the quality of labor, sub-contractors, and equipment.• Reviewing and approving all drawings and specifications submitted by the Contractor and highlighting any discrepancies or missing details to the Client.• Managing safety and operational risk assessment and management processes to ensure the implementation of appropriate measures before and during construction activities.• Monitoring and reporting on the Contractor's implementation of appropriate QA/QC procedures.• Reviewing and approving/rejecting all material submittals from the Contractor and inspecting materials on site.• Maintaining comprehensive registers to record the status of all submittals, technical queries, inspection requests, Contractor manpower, equipment, and vehicles, and submitting monthly progress reports to the Client.• Managing the Change management process and ensuring that the proper change management approvals are in place before the issue of any Instruction to vary works.• Instructing the Contractor to carry out all tests required, attending all tests, whether on or off-site, and performing progressive snagging and de-snagging of the works to ensure they are defect-free before being handed over to the Client.
