The apron shall have taxi-through capability with one concrete access taxiway. The access taxiway will include all required pavement markings and associated pavement airfield lighting (including edge lighting) to control aircraft movement. This project includes extension of the existing parallel taxiway for 110 meters.The fuel storage and distribution system includes facilities for on-site fuel delivery and off-load (of commercial tanker trucks); fuel storage; fuel filtration and pumping; fuel up-load (of military R-11 refueler trucks); and, fuel operations. Fuel delivery and off-load will consist of a properly-sized tanker truck off-load area, two (2) each truck off-load stands and two - 6-inch camlock offload connections per offload stand. Total off-load stand receipt capacity shall be a minimum of 1,200 GPM.Fuel storage will consist of two (2) each 20,000-barrel steel cut-n-cover tanks with an integral pump building on top of each tank. Each pump building will house three (3) each 900 GPM operating pumps with one (1) additional 900 GPM stand-by pump.Fuel filtration will consist of a separate filter/separator Cast-in-Place Concrete building which will house two (2) each 1,200 GPM receipt filters and three (3) each 900 GPM issue filters with one (1) additional 900 GPM back-up issue filter.
