> Strategy Alignment for a Large GCC Investment Company – Brainstormed and identified key local investment opportunities that have a high trade balance improvement potential, while aligning with governmental requirements and maintaining profitability thresholds. Assisted in the development of a model that computes and tracks the company’s key financial metrics. Developed the company’s Board of Directors executive summary presentation in both English and Arabic. Participated in the development of the company’s new operating model, including governance and organization structures.> Space Strategy for a GCC Country – Conducted a current-state assessment on the country’s national space-related capabilities, while also identifying international benchmarks, possible threats, and stakeholder requirements to derive national space priorities. Assisted in the translation of the identified priorities into initiatives across mission areas, mission assurance, and enablers.

Oversaw the construction processes of 5 different projects, by managing an average team of 6-7 construction workers per project sub-division. Closely monitored site activities, and verified that contractor's performance was up to UNDP standards. As such, over the course of 2 months, I identified 21 situations where contractors committed safety breaches, leading to a 11% increase in penalty revenue to the UNDP.Assisted the Mount Lebanon (ML) engineering team in construction contract analysis and structural design review, with average contract bid value of $1.2 Million USD.

Headed and oversaw all club activities, revolving around introducing non-finance majors to crucial financial concepts such as TVM, Portfolio Diversification, and Compounding amongst other necessary skills.Single-handedly saved the club's livelihood by restructuring the latter's cabinet into a team of respective specialists. Composed and managed the club's new marketing and PR teams which led to a 200% increase in club member subscriptions.Started out as a member at large in the club's general cabinet. Was directly promoted to President the following year due to outstanding performance.

Enrolled in AUB's work-study program as part of the student unit at the MSFEA advising center, initiated for student leaders by the dean's office.Guided engineering students through making choices on courses, internships, and extracurricular activities.Collected and analyzed data related to student needs, and accordingly proposed plans to accommodate said needs through leveraging my position in the student-government..

Elected as the only member of the SRC to Head the Disciplinary and Student Affairs council, where every disciplinary issue regarding any student in the entirety of the FEA is evaluated and solved.Tackled a total of 87 discipline cases throughout the year, defending 83 students, saving the latter from undeserved disciplinary penalties (with a 95.4% success rate).Ensured adequate student accommodations regarding missed classes and exam re-scheduling due to the closing of AUB during the Lebanese revolution (which erupted in October 19th, 2019).Negotiated the successful pass/no-pass grading scheme proposal for Spring 2020 exclusively (COVID-19 damage control).

Elected as 1/4 members of the SRC, representing the entirety of Faculty of Engineering and Architecture's third year students.

Evaluated the tender documents of multiple contractors in the bidding phase of one of Dar's international projects. Analyzed the former's financial statements to assess it's competence with regards to meeting Dar's contractor requirements for projects with average budgets of $3 million.Assisted senior project engineers in quantity surveying through the analysis of complex AutoCAD drawings. The results of the latter were then used by Dar's cost-estimation team.Gained valuable insight in all other aspects of pre-contracting (contracting strategy, bidding etc.), construction (cost estimation and control, QA/QC etc.) and post-contracting processes (Site investigation, follow up) working on a plethora of projects within the middle-east under the supervision of Dar's respective senior engineers within the latter-mentioned fields.
