I am drawn to the world of design and the built environment's impact on our communities. How we live, how we travel, how we work, how we study, how we worship and so much more. What these spaces have looked like in the past, what they look like today, what they could look like in the future are questions I am constantly in direct conversation with. I am also fascinated by visual media and have a deep seated passion for classical drafting and drawing, watercolors and ink sketching. I enjoy a good book or a movie and am always on the lookout for treasures. This interest in film also branches into an endless curiosity for photography; my eyes constantly searching for clever compositions, color harmonies and balanced geometries. Talk to me about jazz, history, art, literature, politics, and whatever made you laugh that one time and you'll just want the conversation to go on and on.
