Responsible for Engineering department including the following main areas;- Project Management regarding facility extension and new products.- Studying and planning of new business initiatives/opportunities.- Manufacturing Process Engineering- Technical Procurement & Parts Localization- Production Planning

In the lead of the Engineering Department. The Engineering department covers the functions of; process & tech. support, production planning, local content engineering and engineering procurement.In addition, my responsibilities as a process and technical support head include:- Manage production line documentation system (distribution and update).- Ensure the correct implementation of Mercedes-Benz standard processes.- Manage the task of line and processes optimization and balancing using motion and time study techniques.- Manage providing technical support to production line through relevant planning team at Daimler overseas plant support center.- Plan and develop plant layout. - Support technical training.- Responsible for project management (new models, plant extensions, ..etc).- Key member in performing feasibility studies for potential business cases.

Industry classification:- ElectricalProcesses diversity:- Plastic Injection Molding.- Sheet Metal.Responsibilities:- Create/Modify Bill of Materials.- Perform time and work studies for manufacturing processes, on regular basis to update the production capacity.- Schedule production in order to fulfill sales forecast plan.- Perform MRP, issue purchase requisitions.- Prepare reports concerning plant capacity, product costing, potential plant layout alternatives .etc, in order to support higher management decision making process.- Solve process technical problems and suggest process improvements.

Manufacturing Process Engineer (July 2003 To Mar. 2005):- Create/modify Bill of Material. Take make-or-buy decision for non standard items. - Prepare process sheet for manufacturing of parts.- Prepare assembly process sheet for sub-assemblies. Processes involved include welding, paneling, and manual assembly of various components.- Determine the needed fixtures, templates, assembly jigs .. etc.- Troubleshoot process problems, as well as suggest potential improvements. - Review plant layout for potential expansions.Production Planning Engineer (May 2002 To June 2003) :- Create production plan based on the Master Production Schedule- Schedule production orders for part manufacturing- Analyze raw material consumption to minimize scrap portion- Set dates for releasing design modifications for production.

Installation Engineer:- Site management of projects involve international customers (Ex: Bechtel, Vodafone, British Embassy in Cairo, ..)- Design and preparation for installation.- Prepare installation manuals and train the technicians on installation and maintenance for new products.- Prepare shop drawings as needed.
