Prior to joining Lutron Electronics Co., Inc in June 2024, Sam was awarded two highly competitive scholarships while attending Drexel University. The Mariheln D. Rose Scholarship sends one student each year to Trinity College Dublin to represent the University. The Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship awards two students, each semester, monetary funding and office space to grow their business. He was also elected the president of Drexel’s men club basketball team and served one year as the entire school’s club sports media manager. Sam garnered public speaking skills as the varsity athletic halftime & intermission on-court MC. He displayed his newfound skills in a TEDTalk styled presentation titled “the importance of meeting strangers.” Sam is an AJ Drexel Scholar, dean’s list member, half marathon runner, content creator, apparel design winner and first-generation investor tutor. Drexel offers its students a world-class education in conjunction with real-world experience and Sam has made the most of his time while attending.
