While I wasn't looking to leave QT, NORDAM offered me the opportunity to be employee #1 of a new start-up subsidiary responsible for building the team, the product, and bringing PartPilot to market. PartPilot was an online B2B marketplace for buying, selling, and exchanging new surplus and used aircraft material. Thing of it as an eBay for aircraft parts. Responsible for all software, operational, and client relationship functions. Dotted-line responsibility for Sales. Shortly after existing beta and beginning to generate revenue, NORDAM filed chapter 11 which froze our funding and I had to shutter the endeavor.
