I work closely with the café owner to ensure that new specialty beers are added to the menu. Additionally, I am responsible for developing persuasive and creative promotional messages that appeal to the café's target audience.

As a student assistant at MSTC, I am responsible for supporting instructors in designing and automating realistic scenarios in the engine room simulator.I focus on utilizing the automations available in the Kongsberg simulators to enhance the efficiency of the learning process. Additionally, I research the social and psychological aspects of the simulator exercises on the students and examine their learning processes. Using this feedback, I try to come up with ways to optimize and improve these effects.Through my contributions, I ensure that students receive a valuable and effective learning experience, and that the simulations remain relevant and up-to-date.

As a cadet on board the ms Westerdam, I gained an unforgettable experience and a lot of knowledge about navigation and the engine room. I worked on both the bridge and in the engine room, learning about navigation, route planning, and monitoring various systems. I was involved in monitoring and maintaining all systems in the engine room, such as diesel generators, wastewater treatment, and Azipod propulsion. Through this hands-on experience, I learned how to work efficiently in a team, solve problems, and take responsibility for my tasks. I am very grateful for this experience and will be able to apply the skills I have learned in the future.

As a dishwasher and kitchen assistant at 'De Tijd', I started mainly with washing dishes and cutlery, but gradually gained more responsibilities in the kitchen.In the evenings, I gained more responsibility in preparing cold dishes and eventually became fully responsible for the preparation and presentation of cold dishes. During lunch, I assisted with mise-en-place and serving the lunch. After a few weeks, I eventually took on a part of the hot kitchen and was responsible for preparing various warm dishes.Through this experience, I learned how to work efficiently under pressure and how to multitask effectively.
