Honors Thesis in Statistical Human Genetics under advisor Linda Brzustowicz, MD.Conducted genome-wide association study of Bipolar Disorder using symptom-level clinical interviews as opposed to broadly labeled DSM-IV diagnoses. This higher-dimensionality approach mitigated noise and powered significant findings of a novel gene previously associated with Borderline Personality Disorder. *Won Henry Rutgers Scholar Award for project and paper. *Won Excellence in a Research Presentation Award for best platform talk at annual symposium.
