Working closely with Switzerland HQ counterpart and various local departments such as production, QA, sales, project engineering team, testing team and supply chainEssential duties and responsibilitiesEnsure mechanical solution compliance with GUTOR standards and International standards, codes and safety requirements- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation- Ensure cost competency of GUTOR Malaysia in mechanical discipline with active participation in localization process- Support front end team (Sales & Project) and back end team (Operation - production,testing,supply chain,quality) to fulfil client's requirementAccomplishmentsAwards• Won Business Excellence (Silver) Award by contributed in cost saving project that reduces cost by 23% for organization's 2 main production factory, GUTOR Malaysia and GUTOR Switzerland.New Product Introduction• Participated in new product management team in designing and configuration of BOM (Bill of Materials) that enabled company to offer new product with lower cost and shorter lead time (2 weeks) to capture market share. Regional cost saving project• Working directly with China localization team to develop alternative supplier and enabled company to cost saving of (30%) and shorter lead time (8 weeks). In charge of qualifying new parts and setting up quality check sheets for supplier. • Participated directly with Philippines NPI team in developing their plant capability as the first power module supplier in Asia which enabled company to save cost for (30%) and cut down lead time (10 weeks)• Working directly with strategic supply chain to develop alternative supplier capability and enabled company to have multi supplier source in mechanical discipline. Qualified more than 300 new parts from new supplier and developed new line with suppliers.
