Profile bio

About Sam Geldin

I’m a Climate Change Consultant at the World Bank and Adelphi, where I conduct climatological analysis to inform climate security decision-making. I currently serve as Executive Director of the advisory group Climatepedia, which specializes in climate communications, education, and capacity-building. I'm also an affiliated researcher with the Penn Institute for Urban Research, studying nature-based solution financing for local governments. I’m particularly passionate about enhancing subnational climate action efforts through policy, planning, and research in the areas of climate adaptation, disaster risk reduction, and urban resilience. I continue to seek opportunities to strategically leverage resources, initiate partnerships, and inform approaches to address sources of vulnerability and strengthen transformative capacities, especially in the Asia-Pacific region.
