Developing my work in my previous role with MDG Group, I am still responsible for:- Working with clients to develop bespoke carbon reduction plans for their business to make them more sustainable, considering on-site generation options and energy efficiency solutions to reduce reliance on non-renewable energy from the grid and overall energy consumption.- Streamlined Energy and Carbon reporting (or equivalent specific to client) analysing Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, normalising data for presentation to clients and ensuring they are compliant with Government legislation.- Marketing and branding work to promote new products and services we have developed, encouraging interaction with current and potential clients through online engagement, presentation and networking.- Energy monitoring projects looking at customer energy consumption to pinpoint areas of waste and advise them on how they could operate with greater efficiency.- Research and reporting work on compliance with Government sustainability legislation.- Circular Tayside Ambassador focusing on Circular Economy and looking at ways in which MDG Group can operate in a more circular, environmentally friendly manner, and helping our customers to do likewise.Additionally, I have taken on responsibility for:- One-to-one business consultancy offering training and advice to businesses on how to accelerate their sustainability journey within their own budgets and time-frames.- Further consultancy on writing Net-Zero statements to help client's formalise their commitments and promote to stakeholders.- Larger report-style consultancy taking a high level view of an organisation's current practices, and making recommendations on how they can improve to become more sustainable, and assisting through the implementation stage through aforementioned bespoke carbon reduction planning.

1st For Energy ensure that businesses are compliant with current energy related legislation throughout the UK. My duties include:- Keeping clients informed of current and forthcoming energy related legislation.- Working with energy assessors to arrange for energy inspections at client sites for Display Energy Certificates, Energy Performance Certificates, and Air Conditioning Certificates- Performing Energy Assessments myself to provide clients with Energy Performance Ratings.- Using information from inspections to inform long-term energy strategies and carbon reduction practices.- Packaging regulations compliance and Extended Producer Responsibility work to ensure businesses are compliant.

I had the opportunity to work in Mexico City for three months as a research intern for Conscious Capitalism, creating intelligence tools to be published informing businesses in Latin America of their work and the benefits of operating with a higher purpose.. My main duties included:- Performing research work to be published by Conscious Capitalism and working to strict deadlines to inform potential and existing clients of the movement towards and benefits of conscious business practices- Constructing social media posts to increase audience for research work- Helping to organise an event for CEO’s of different companies around Mexico and the Americas, creating informative leaflets, liaising with colleagues and acting as a host on the day of the event, requiring planning and strong communication to ensure seamless transitions between different stages and presentations
