At the Schlegel Centre for Entrepreneurship & Social Innovation I work with amazing students, alumni and community entrepreneurs to help them start businesses they are passionate about. I provide 1-on-1 coaching, workshops and webinars to help build skills in entrepreneurship.I also manage an exciting portfolio of competitions, speaker series and funding programs that help expose students to the world of entrepreneurship and accelerate their progress.

Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I jumped on the chance to teach two sections of 300 students of a class I have been involved in for many years. In this role, I was involved in planning and delivering lecture content with the course coordinator, developing exams and exercises as well as working with the Head Teaching Assistant and Teaching Assistants to develop content for the lab portion of the course.

I work with the very talented students at Enactus Laurier to provide mentorship and advice to their 3 social ventures along with the other faculty advisor Laura Allan. The Enactus Laurier team is incredibly talented and is one of the most fulfilling things I have taken part in. With the team's hard work and guidance provided by Laura and myself, we were able to make it to the national stage of the Enactus competition this past year.

I lead and manage a team of 40 teaching assistants, each of whom facilitate a class of 60 students every week where they develop students’ case analysis, critical thinking, presentation and communication skills. My responsibilities in this area include designing lab material and exercises as well as being the go-to contact for all needs and issues for the entire TA team throughout the semester.Other course wide duties include working directly with the textbook publishers to design and execute the online component of the course, as well as resolving extra-ordinary student issues that TAs and students experience.All of these duties were carried out concurrently while teaching 2 labs of 60 students total each week, assuming the regular responsibilities of a TA, as well as pursuing my double degree.
