Identifying myself as a first-generation immigrant in Canada has largely shaped my unique perspectives and aspirations. I understand how it feels to be financially insecure or without opportunities and go above and beyond when an opportunity arises. I take a great deal of pride in my persistence, diligence, and go-getter mentality. This is why I love computers and their functions as tools that allow individuals/corporations to solve problems in a variety of business, scientific and social contexts.I also credit my incredible work ethic to my love of competitive boxing. It has taught me the most difficult qualities to instill in a person, and some of the best personal qualities to carry into one’s life – the capacity for sheer, unrelenting, exhausting work, and the disciplines and virtues that attach to that; including dedication, perseverance, and self-confidence.
